SCRIPTURE: Now then we are ambassadors for Christ, as though God did beseech you by us: we pray you in Christ’s stead, be ye reconciled to God. – 2 Corinthians 5:20
THOUGHT FOR THE DAY: Even though we are on the earth, we are not of the earth.
Seeds Of Destiny For Today 2026 MESSAGE
Our anchor Scripture confirms that every child of God is an ambassador of the Kingdom of God. As a child of God, you are a kingdom person, not an earthly person. You belong to a Kingdom, the Kingdom of God. Your existence on earth is like that of a person who is on an assignment in another kingdom other than his kingdom of origin.

You exist on earth like the ambassador of the United States of America in Nigeria. He is in Nigeria, but not of Nigeria. When you step into his house in Abuja, the moment you cross the gate, even though you are still in Nigeria, diplomatically and symbolically, you have entered America. The conditions of America apply within that embassy even though it is in Abuja, Nigeria.
When the US government wants to pay their ambassador in Nigeria, they do not pay him in Naira; they pay him in the US currency, the dollar. This is because even though he is in Nigeria, he is not of Nigeria. The laws of his kingdom apply to him here. That is how it is with us as envoys of God’s Heavenly Kingdom on earth. Even though we are on the earth, we are not of the earth.
We are not permitted to be limited by the laws of this earth. We are not permitted to be restricted and restrained by the prevailing conditions and circumstances of the earth. We are of another kingdom, and we have a temporary assignment in this earthly kingdom.
One day, I told God’s Servant, Bishop Oyedepo, “The place where I come from, there are not many people who go very far in ministry. Some are cut short before their time or rendered useless. Please, pray for me, sir; I don’t want that kind of experience.” And he told me, “You are not from there. You do not belong there. That place was only your port of arrival.”
Beloved, that is how it is with you. You were packaged in heaven, deployed from eternity, and arrived through the vehicle of your parents to the port of your entry. Don’t confuse your port of arrival with your origin.
Your nation is merely your arrival station. Your origin is different. And by the time you pass through the arrival station, and finish your assignment, you return to where you came from.
John Wesley said, “…I am a spirit come from God, and returning to God: just hovering over the great gulf; till, a few moments hence, I am no more seen; I drop into an unchangeable eternity.”
That is, “I’m just passing through time, and after a short while I return to where I came from.”
Beloved, if you understand this, you will not allow the forces of this world or this earthly system to hold you down or limit your destiny. You will function with a different mindset. That is why when Christians want to live like unbelievers, it is an abomination. When you want to do business the way they do business, it is an abomination. It is a misunderstanding of your identity. It is an abuse of your existence.
Know who you are, where you came from and function in line with the expectations of the Kingdom of God for your existence in the earth.
REMEMBER THIS: Even though we are on the earth, we are not of the earth.
ASSIGNMENT(S):
- Refuse to live by the standards and limitations of this world; live daily as a true representative of God’s Kingdom.
- Maintain a kingdom mindset and attitude in all you do.
PRAYER: Father, thank You for making me Your Kingdom ambassador on earth. Help me to reflect Your character and live above the limitations of this world, Lord, in Jesus’ Name.
