TOPIC: The Purpose Of Financial Blessing (Seeds Of Destiny 9 November 2022)

SCRIPTURE: Let them shout for joy, and be glad, that favour my righteous cause: yea, let them say continually, Let the LORD be magnified, which hath pleasure in the prosperity of his servant. – Psalm 35:27

THOUGHT FOR THE DAY: God does not want you to be a bad representative or advertiser of heaven.

Seeds Of Destiny For Today 2022 MESSAGE:

God is the God of overflowing, overwhelming, abundance. He is the God of excess without stress (Psalm 24:1, Haggai 2:8-9). And He takes pleasure in the prosperity of His servant (Psalm 35:27).

God gives His people the power to get wealth (Deuteronomy 8:18). It is also crucial to note that there are reasons why God gives financial blessings to His people. He does not do things aimlessly; He does not do something because it has to be done.

So, the question is, what is the purpose of financial blessing? Why does God empower His people with wealth?

  1. The purpose of financial blessing is for us to have total control over the resources of our Heavenly Father (Psalm 24:1, Haggai 2:8-9).
    It is a terrible thing for the enemies of God like sponsors of terrorism, kidnap sponsors, drug barons, etc. to be in command of the wealth of God in the world.
  2. To advertise both the goodness and greatness of our Father.
    God wants to decorate us with His blessings, so we can advertise to our generation both His goodness and greatness (Isaiah 60:1-8). God does not want you to be a bad representative or advertiser of heaven.

In 1 Kings 10:4, Solomon had not preached to the Queen of Sheba yet, but his money, wealth, results and resources spoke volumes. God is about to give you the kind of result that is going to preach to unbelievers.

  1. To serve and worship our Creator wholeheartedly without the distractions of lack and scarcity (Deuteronomy 6:7-10, Joel 2:26).

Beloved, let the outlined purpose of financial blessing guide your attitude towards wealth creation and you will experience God’s limitless blessing.

Remember this: God does not want you to be a bad representative or advertiser of heaven.

ASSIGNMENT(S):

  1. Be committed to covenant practices and Kingdom advancement.
  2. Refuse to waste the resources that enter your hands; invest and be a blessing to God’s Kingdom and those in need.

PRAYER: Lord, I receive the power to make wealth and control Your resources on earth. Let unbelievers see Your glory in my life and desire to know You Lord, in Jesus’ Name.
