For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways, and my thoughts than your thoughts. Isaiah 55:9. Read: Isaiah 55:8-13
One of the reason why we are impatient with God probably when what we’ve asked Him is not forthcoming at the time we expected is because we fail to realize that, the ways of God is not our way and His thought is not our thought. The Bible says, He that believes shall not make haste. This means that, our impatient with God is unbelief in Him which is while sometimes what we are believing Him for linger. So long your ways are right with God, what you are asking Him for that has not come will still come, it could just be that the appointed time by God is not yet. Jesus told His mother, My hour is not yet come. John 2:4. Then Jesus said unto them, My time is not yet come: but your time is always ready. John 7:6. There is time for everything under the sun. There is time for mercy, time for Salvation which is now, there is time for the fulfilment of every vision and there is time for Divine remembrance. Gen. 8:1, Eccl. 3:1-8, 2 Cor. 6:2. God has not forgotten you concerning your request neither will He forget you, He will show up at the appointed time for your defense. Don’t give up on God, He will do it.
