14 Be ye not unequally yoked together with unbelievers: for what fellowship hath righteousness with unrighteousness? and what communion hath light with darkness?

15 And what concord hath Christ with Belial? or what part hath he that believeth with an infidel?

16 And what agreement hath the temple of God with idols? for ye are the temple of the living God; as God hath said, I will dwell in them, and walk in them; and I will be their God, and they shall be my people.

17 Wherefore come out from among them, and be ye separate, saith the Lord, and touch not the unclean thing; and I will receive you,

18 And will be a Father unto you, and ye shall be my sons and daughters, saith the Lord Almighty.

MESSAGE:

Networking means connecting with other people. It is also meeting new people. You meet new people when you change your environment, for instance, when your family moves to a new neighbourhood, when you change school or church. It is important to network spiritually when you move to a new environment. By networking spiritually, I mean that you should make friends with teenagers like yourself who are spiritually minded. Look for people who live good Christian live. If you don’t deliberately network spiritually, and makes friends with whoever comes your way, you may end up with bad friends. Know that is it more difficult to unfriend someone than to befriend him.

In looking for good Christian teenagers to become friends in a new environment, you need to take your time to study the teenagers around first. Don’t be in a hurry to make friends. Also, look out for circles where Christians meet. This is important if you are about to get into University. When you get into the University, look for Christian fellowships and observe the people in the fellowship and you will find good friends.

Key Point:

If you don’t consciously choose your friends in a new environment, you are likely to end up with bad friends.
