Let not thine heart envy sinners: but be thou in the fear of the LORD all the day long. Proverbs 23:17
Why do majority of Christians still envy sinners? Because they don’t know their identity as a child of God. Isaiah says, my people are destroyed because of lack of knowledge. Isa. 5:13. When you envy a sinner, what you are equating yourself with sin, you are telling yourself and God is better to be a sinner than a Saint. envying a sinner who through Dubious ways acquired wealth is bringing yourself into his/her class. Bible says you are sited in heavenly places far above sinners and principalities.
And the wealth of the sinners are laid up for the just. Pro. 13:22. No matter what a sinner has acquired, you are wealthier than him/her. Listen to me, some years ago, God told me that, THE MOST RICHEST MAN ON EARTH IS A MAN THAT HAS CHRIST, and THE MOST POOREST MAN ON EARTH IS A MAN WITHOUT JESUS CHRIST (See Luke 16:19-31, Rev 3:17-21). If you are genuinely born again, you disgrace the power of Redemption by comparing yourself with sinners. Know who you are and stop comparing yourself with sinners that are the most poorest (irrespective of what they have now)
* You are wealthy both Spiritually and Physically only when you have Jesus Christ.
