TOPIC: SUPERNATURAL ELEVATION
TEXT: PSALM 121: 1-2, JOHN 12:32
Topic: Supernatural Elevation
Elevation means movement to a higher level.
Supernatural means something superior to the natural. Isaiah 40: 28-31
If the natural hooks up with the Supernatural, humans will do what they cannot normally do.
The Supernatural is that which enables the ordinary to do what is not normally possible.
Judges 15: 14-15, 16: 4-6
The supernatural is in two folds:
- The Divine supernatural
Psalm 62:11 - The supernatural that proceeds from the devil. Ephesians 2:2
There is good power and bad power.
The good news is that power passes power.
The power of Jesus supersedes any other.
Philippians 2: 9-11
Supernatural elevation means reaching a height that you cannot reach by natural means.
Examples of Supernatural Elevation in the Bible:
- Joseph: He had series of dreams – Genesis 37: 1-11
They tried to kill him, but he escaped death & slavery to enjoy supernatural elevation.
God is the Giver of dreams
Anytime you tell people what God has put in your heart that you’re likely to become, people will laugh.
Why?
A dream from God is way beyond your natural ability to become.
- David: 1 Kings 16: 1-13
Even his father didn’t believe that he could become king.
David, the shepherd boy became the great grandfather of Jesus. Acts 13: 20-ffg
Whenever you hear God telling you what will happen and it seems impossible, put in the supernatural.
Put God in your calculations.
When God decides to promote you, He promotes you steadily and permanently.
When God is the One promoting you, because His arms are everlasting, He promotes you ‘everlastingly’.
God is the One who gives the dreams, and He’s the One who can bring them to pass. 1 Samuel 2: 7-8
You must avoid sinning against Most High in order to maintain your promotion.
Acts 13:20ff
Are you ready to do God’s will at all times, He’s ready to bring you out no matter where you are hidden. 1 Sam. 2:8.
Your sun is about to rise. And the Almighty God can cause it to keep rising and never set.
But you must make the decision to surrender to Him.

Father, this first day of May, let my star begin to shine.
