Because I have called, and ye refused; I have stretched out my hand, and no man regarded; I also will laugh at your calamity; I will mock when your fear cometh. Proverbs 1:24, 26. Read: Matt 11:28-30
God is an omniscient God, He possess infinite knowledge or understanding of all things. He knows the end from the beginning. Isa 46:10. Nothing can caught Him unaware. Whenever God ask you to do something, it’s to either avert a danger in the future or He wants to bless you. When God wants to save you and you begin to run away from Him, you might run into what He wants or trying to save you from.
In Proverbs chapter one, God sent out an invitation letter to sinners whose lives are in danger, He stretched forth His hands to received them simply because He forsee calamity coming their way. He wanted to saved them before they got caught in it but they rejected His offer of Salvation. And God said to them, since you refused to come to me, “I also will laugh at your calamity; I will mock when your fear cometh; When your fear cometh as desolation, and your destruction cometh as a whirlwind; when distress and anguish cometh upon you. Then shall they call upon me, but I will not answer; they shall seek me early, but they shall not find me. Pro 1:26-28. May God Almighty not keep silent when you call on Him in Jesus Name.
