Memorise: Who is weak, and I am not weak? Who is offended, and I burn not? – 2 Corinthians 11:29
Read: 2 Corinthians 11:23-30
23 Are they ministers of Christ? (I speak as a fool) I am more; in labours more abundant, in stripes above measure, in prisons more frequent, in deaths oft.
24 Of the Jews five times received I forty stripes save one.
25 Thrice was I beaten with rods, once was I stoned, thrice I suffered shipwreck, a night and a day I have been in the deep;
26 In journeyings often, in perils of waters, in perils of robbers, in perils by mine own countrymen, in perils by the heathen, in perils in the city, in perils in the wilderness, in perils in the sea, in perils among false brethren;
27 In weariness and painfulness, in watchings often, in hunger and thirst, in fastings often, in cold and nakedness.
28 Beside those things that are without, that which cometh upon me daily, the care of all the churches.
29 Who is weak, and I am not weak? who is offended, and I burn not?
30 If I must needs glory, I will glory of the things which concern mine infirmities.

MESSAGE:
A lesson from the life of Paul simply tells us that in spite of the level of hindrances, diversions, distractions and disturbances that come, if you truly want to finish strong, you will. Satan can use just anybody including the leader that you so love and trust to work against your finishing strong. If he wants to introduce a major hindrance on your way to finishing your assignment or making Heaven, he will stir up someone who you will never expect to hurt you. It happened to Paul. Certain believers that he thought were together with him set him up; but for the Lord who had been his trust, he would never have recovered. God helped him out and he pushed the incident aside and moved on.
Are you a victim of the plan of so-called brethren? Did fellow believers who you used to look up to disappoint you? Receive grace to forgive them so you can move forward. Nothing must take Heaven from you. You will finish strong and make it in Jesus’ name.
Action Point: Grace is the antidotes to your problems and challenges. Ask God for more grace daily
Hymn 1:
1. My faith looks up to Thee,
Thou Lamb of Calvary,
Saviour divine!
Now hear me while I pray,
Take all my guilt away,
Oh, let me from this day
Be wholly Thine!
2. May Thy rich grace impart
Strength to my fainting heart,
My zeal inspire!
As Thou hast died for me,
Oh, may my love to Thee
Pure, warm and changeless be
A living fire !
3. While life’s dark maze I tread,
And griefs around me spread,
Be Thou my guide;
Bid darkness turn to day,
Wipe sorrow’s tears away,
Nor let me ever stray
From Thee aside.
4. When ends life’s transient dream,
When death’s cold sullen stream
Shall o’er me roll;
Blest Saviour, then, in love,
Fear and distrust remove;
Oh, bear me safe above,
A ransomed soul.
