Topic: The Price Of Success
Success is a costly endeavor. There is a price behind every great success story you see today. Many people are not interested in paying the price for success but yet expect to see results, so they keep chasing the wind all their lives.
Again, the kingdom of heaven is like unto treasure hid in a field; the which when a man hath found, he hideth, and for joy thereof goeth and selleth all that he hath, and buyeth that field. Again, the kingdom of heaven is like unto a merchant man, seeking goodly pearls: who, when he had found one pearl of great price, went and sold all that he had, and bought it- Matt.13:44-46 .
Every prize has a price. The level of dignity you command is a function of the price you are willing to pay.
For which of you, intending to build a tower, sitteth not down first, and counteth the cost, whether he have sufficient to finish it? Lest haply, after he hath laid the foundation, and is not able to finish it, all that behold it begin to mock him, Saying, This man began to build, and was not able to finish- Luke 14:28-30.
Every great accomplishment therefore is a product of a great price paid. Every global impact will demand a global price. There is no short-cut to greatness and there are no short-cuts to anywhere of great importance.
As the fining pot for silver, and the furnace for gold; so is a man to his praise-Prov.27:21.
Many believers settle for the status-quo due to the seemingly unbearable price that success demands.
And from the days of John the Baptist until now the kingdom of heaven suffereth violence, and the violent take it by force- Matt.11:12.
To enjoy success, there is a cost price attached to it which is commitment to God, His word and dedication to your assignment. As you continuously seek God’s face in prayer and study of His word, dedicate your time and energy to your assignment, you will encounter all round divine success in every area of your life in the name of Jesus –Amen!
