And besought him greatly, saying, my little daughter lieth at the point of death: I pray thee, come and lay thy hands on her, that she may be healed; and she shall live. – Mark 5:23

No one would ever have an encounter with Jesus without an answer. Mark 5:22 says; ‘And behold, there cometh one of the leaders of the synagogue, Jairus by name.’ This man was a Jew and was a ruler of a synagogue. In other words, he understood the laws. Yet, when Jairus saw Jesus, he fell at His feet and besought him greatly, saying, ‘my little daughter is at the point of death; I pray thee, come and lay thy hands on her, that she may be healed, and she shall live.’

In other words, ‘her condition is critical, and I believe that if you lay your hands on her, she shall be healed.’ That last statement, ‘and she shall live’, indicates that even if she was dead, the laying on of the hands of Jesus Christ will make her live.

And Jesus went with Him and much people followed Him and thronged him. When you make a request to Jesus, He doesn’t say ‘No.’ Death is the worst thing that could happen to anyone; both physical and spiritual death, but most especially spiritual death. In the natural, death is the ultimate problem that man has. And Jesus came to take away death. He has actually taken it away. And so, there is nothing, no request that you would make of the Father, that He cannot answer.

Jesus went with him. He did not say pray more! He did not say fast more! He did not say ‘how much have you given?’ Jesus went with him. He is always favourably disposed to dispense good to His people. Everyone that comes to Him gets His miracle. The Bible says in Romans 10:13: Whosoever calls upon the name of the Lord shall be saved. You cannot call upon Him and not see something definite. You cannot seek Him in vain.
