Topic: You Cannot Stand In Christ and Fail [TREM 14 September 2018 Daily Devotional]

“Therefore thus saith the Lord God, behold, I lay in Zion for a foundation a stone, a tried stone, a precious cornerstone, a sure foundation; he that believeth shall not make haste”. Isaiah 28:16 (KJV) You cannot have God as your foundation and then fail in life. It is not possible! He is the Alpha and the Omega. Some of us are struggling for things that should naturally accrue to us by reason of birth. We are struggling when all we need do is to receive. That thing that continues to disturb you, the Master has already dealt with it at the foundation. Before it arrived, the Master was there already. The ancient Prophet Isaiah says, “Behold, I lay in Zion for a foundation…” In other words, you can stake your life on it. A stone! Not just any stone: but a tried stone, a precious corner stone, and a sure foundation. That is where you are standing. How can I stand in Christ and fail? Stop fretting. When the storm is over, you will be standing because your foundation is sure. I declare that the nations of the world will bow to you. It does not matter where you are located, that land will answer to you. The earth is the Lord’s and the fullness thereof (Psa. 24:1). We are not standing on a shaky foundation. Our foundation triumphed over death, hell and grave. Paul said “For I determined, not to know anything among you, save Jesus Christ and Him crucified.” His death, burial and resurrection represented the source of Paul’s stability, and that made him stand out. The work that Jesus did was completely complete and perfectly perfect. Stop running all over the place looking for prophets who will ‘prophelie’ to you. If standing on the infallible, errorless, impregnable, authoritative word of God has brought this Ministry thus far; then what are you looking for? All these private prophets praying for you, collecting your money and giving you prophecy; they will not help you. Stay on the sure foundation of the word of God and you cannot fail.
