Topic: Your Story Will End In Glory [TREM 9 August 2018 Daily Devotional]
“For God, who commanded the light to shine out of darkness, hath shined in our hearts, to give the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ”. 2 Corinthians 4:6
From our text, you will notice that God didn’t command light to come out of light. Rather, He commanded light to come out of darkness. It means that in every darkness there is light. The fact that it looks dark and obscure does not mean that is the end of the story. That is where God comes in. That is where He flexes His muscle.
He dwells in the light which no one can approach. He is God! He is light Himself and the scripture says He commands light to come out of darkness. So, whatever the enemy has packaged, God is saying that is not the end. The final word belongs to God. Whatever that has held you down, light is coming out of it. No matter the complexity of your situation, I declare that solution is coming out of it. He commanded light to come out of darkness because He is God all by Himself. He is the Alpha and the Omega. He is the Beginning and the End. He is the First and the Last.
According to the book of Hebrews 5:7 & 9, When Jesus had…….”offered up prayer and supplications with strong crying and tears unto Him that was able to save Him from death, and was heard in that he feared. And being made perfect, he became the author of eternal salvation….” Something new came out of Him. The new creation was born because of that. That is why the scripture says in I Corinthians 2:8 that if the princes of this world had known they would not have crucified the Lord of glory. So, I can boldly tell you right now that your situation will not end in disappointment. It will not end in disgrace. Don’t even make plans for failure because it will never end in failure. As long as Jesus Christ rose from the dead, triumphant over death, hell and grave; I can tell you without fear that your story will end in glory.
