Topic: Stay Where You Are Planted [TREM’s Daily Monday March 12, 2018]
“Those that be planted in the house of the Lord shall flourish in the courts of our God”. – Psalms 92:13
There is a “there” for every child of God. Every Ministry has a peculiar assignment and every believer has a calling that aligns with where they are planted. Like you very well know, there are no denominations in heaven. The key to heaven is your acceptance of Jesus Christ as your personal Lord and Saviour. However, when you gave your life to Christ, God left you here on earth to fulfil a purpose and that is where the Church where you are planted comes in.
While we are all members of the same Body, we are not the same part. Some are the hands, some are the feet, some are the toenails, some the fingernails; your position determines your assignment. All truth is parallel, just as the nerves in the hands cannot function in the feet and the muscles in the stomach cannot function in the thigh, so God has planted everyone in a specific Ministry for a purpose, so stay where you are planted. No ministry is more important than the other, just like no part of the body is more important than the other. So, find your place and play your part.
One of the tragedies of the church today is that we have a clientele of believers that do not understand their purpose, so they jump from church to church and get thoroughly confused. They fast with three to four Ministries every year, take on every prayer point and become Jack of all trades, masters of none; and the effect is that they do not even carry out the assignment God gave them and of course, they never get fulfilled. Beloved, your fulfilment comes from doing what you have been called to do, so stay where you are planted, find your place and play your part.
