Topic: When You See Jesus, You Will Love Much [TREM’s Daily Sunday March 25, 2018]

“Wherefore I say unto thee, her sins, which are many, are forgiven; for she loved much: but to whom little is forgiven, the same loveth little”. Luke 7:47

When this woman realized that Jesus just wiped out her sins, she was willing to go all out. To whom little is forgiven, the same loveth little. So, when you think that what God has done in your life does not amount to anything, then you steal your tithe. When the time to give, an offering comes, you will look for the smallest denomination. When you see what He did on the cross as too little, your money becomes your god. Your time, your children, your education and even your talent become your god.

But when you realize that it is a costly price that He paid – He spared not His own Son but gave Him up for us freely, you will be ready to pour all out for Him. That’s why Paul said, “I am determined not to know anything save Christ and Him crucified”. In other words, what would motivate my action is remembering what He did for me on the cross.

Beloved, when you realise the price Jesus paid, it will affect what you do behind closed doors. You will not take His grace in vain.

In the book of Luke 8:1-3, Mary Magdalene knew she was demonized. But when she met Jesus, the demons went out of her and the least she could do was to serve Him. Any wonder that she was the first, at the tomb after His death. In John chapter 4 the Samaritan woman that was considered as a prostitute had an encounter with Jesus. He didn’t tell her to go to Samaria and begin to preach. No! She went back herself and brought the whole city. She didn’t wait till she went to Bible school or learnt all the Hebrew and Greek words. No! All she knew was “come and see the man: Other men are not the man. Only one person is the man and He is Jesus.
