TOPIC: Don’t Give Up (TREM Devotional 13 October 2026)
“And it came to pass at the end of the four hundred and thirty years, even the selfsame day it came to pass, that all the hosts of the LORD went out from the land of Egypt.” – Exodus 12:41 (KJV)
MESSAGE
Beloved, for 430 long years, the children of Israel saw no sign, no evidence, and no indication that they would ever leave Egypt. Everything around them suggested captivity, stagnation, and impossibility. Yet, in one decisive moment, God brought them out, exactly as He had promised.
In the same way, everything God has spoken concerning you will come to pass. I may not know how He will do it, but I stand boldly to declare: God is not a man that He should lie. If He said it, He will do it. If He declared it, He will bring it to completion. Hold on! God will come through for you because He is faithful.
Think about Moses: in a season when infants were being slaughtered, God preserved him. Not only was he kept alive, but God also arranged for him to be trained, nurtured, and educated by the very system that wanted him dead. That is what the supernatural hand of God looks like.
Whenever you doubt God, you delay your breakthrough. Scripture says, “They that observe lying vanities forsake their own mercy” (Jonah 2:8).
The symptoms in your body, the pressure you feel, the challenges around you; these are lying vanities. They are temporary, and they are subject to change.
Unfortunately, many believers hand their blessings to the enemy too easily. Under pressure, they give up, settle for less, and say, “I don’t want trouble.” But remember: when you give the devil an inch, he will gladly take a kilometre.
However, when the enemy meets a believer who stands firm and declares, “I am a covenant child, and the blood of Jesus speaks for me,” he has no choice but to bow.
Child of God, do not give up in the face of adversity. The same God who broke the power of a 430-year bondage will visit you. He will do you good. He will perfect all that concerns you. Your testimony will speak, and it will be undeniable.
Hold your ground, your God is faithful!
