TOPIC: You Are Seated With Christ (TREM Devotional 22 May 2023)
“And hath raised us up together, and made us sit together in heavenly places in Christ Jesus:” – Ephesians 2:6 (KJV)
Wisdom For The Day MESSAGE:
As a believer, you have been raised to sit in heavenly places. That is your position! That is where God has put you because of the death, burial, and resurrection of Jesus Christ, our Lord, and Saviour. Not only that, the book of Romans 8:16-17 says: “The Spirit itself beareth witness with our spirit, that we are the children of God: And if children, then heirs; heirs of God, and joint-heirs with Christ; if so be that we suffer with him, that we may be also glorified together.”
Your second positioning from this scripture is that you are a child of God. You belong to Him because you have been bought at a price. And not only that, you have an inheritance. The Bible says: “… if children then heirs of God and joint-heirs with Christ…” You are not only an heir but a joint heir. When you sign your request before God, it is acceptable as if Jesus signed it. That is your positioning! It was given to you by virtue of what Jesus did on your behalf. Many times, we don’t regard our positioning and we want to achieve. You can’t achieve anything without first taking your position. It is your position that commands your circumstance to bow. It is by standing in your position that you have the authority to command your circumstance to bow. Until you take your position the Holy Spirit will have nothing to work with.
The devil wants you to begin to look at your circumstance and look at your situation rather than be conscious of your positioning. If you refuse to take your position, the Holy Spirit who is your helper, your advocate, your standby, your intercessor, your strengthener, your helper and your teacher will not work because He does not work with error or falsehood.
You will take your place in destiny. What stopped others will not stop you. The same power that raised Jesus from the dead will continue to lift you up in life and in all you do.
