TOPIC: You Will Experience God’s Glory (TREM Devotional 23 August 2026)
The glory of this latter house shall be greater than the former saith the Lord of hosts and in this place will I give peace, saith the Lord of hosts. – Haggai 2:9 (KJV)
MESSAGE
In the book of Haggai chapter two, we see the phrase “saith the Lord of hosts” repeated multiple times. This emphasizes that what the Prophet declared was not the opinion of man, but the very Word of God. In verse 8, the scripture says, “The silver is mine, and the gold is mine, saith the Lord of hosts.”
In other words, if you are asking how, God is saying, “In case you do not know my resume, I own all the resources of the universe. The earth is mine and the fullness thereof. In case you have forgotten, let me remind you.”
God is raising men and women for His glory. Even if you have stepped back or thought your season was over, arise, because it is time to build that vision. It is not over for you. There is still an anointing upon your life. You have what it takes to build and to plant.
Over time, Africa has looked to other nations for help and often been disappointed. Now is the time to lift your hands to God. As Psalm 68:31 says, “Princes shall come out of Egypt; Ethiopia shall soon stretch out her hands unto God.” Princes are rising from your family and business. This is the season to reach out to God. He will never fail you.
“They looked unto him and were lightened: and their faces were not ashamed.” – Psalm 34:5 KJV Perhaps you have been depending on connections, certificates, credentials, or personal efforts. Now, lift your hands to God. Only He can bring you forth.
You will be elevated in your career, business, and family because the hand of God is upon you. You were created for glory and not for shame.
