TOPIC: You Are Protected And Delivered (TREM Devotional 24 April 2025)
“And the LORD went before them by day in a pillar of a cloud, to lead them the way; and by night in a pillar of fire, to give them light; to go by day and night: he took not away the pillar of the cloud by day, nor the pillar of fire by night, from before the people.” (Exodus 13:21-22 KJV)
MESSAGE:
I want you to know that you are completely covered, protected, and delivered as a child of God. In the book of Exodus chapter 13, the bible recorded how God supernaturally brought out the children of Israel from the land of Egypt, the place of bondage.
If you have been privileged to watch the 10 Commandments movie, know that the movie did not capture what really happened. When you watch the people coming out of Egypt, some of them had broken legs, some of their eyes were plucked out. But that is not what the bible says. In the book of Psalms 105:37 (KJV) the bible says “He brought them forth also with silver and gold: and there was not one feeble person among their tribes.” Not one, because God strengthened and healed every one of them.
Our God does not do things halfway. He is a completer and a finisher. Everyone was healed. The lame became healed. And those who were blind received recovery of sight. All damaged organs were healed. He brought them out and those who were poor became rich overnight. This is the benefit of our salvation. Don’t settle for anything less than complete and total victory because the price has been paid.
God brought the Israelites out in spite of Pharaoh’s resistance. God deliberately hardened the heart of Pharaoh so that he would flex his muscle. And that should encourage somebody who is probably encountering some challenges. This is not because God is weak, it is because the testimony coming to you is great. Your testimony is greater than your challenge.
God brought them out supernaturally. And Pharaoh, in spite of his resistance, couldn’t stop them. That is why I know that a child of God is irrevocably, irresistibly, irreversibly blessed. There is nothing the devil can do about it.
