“Ye have not chosen me, but I have chosen you and ordained you, that ye should go and Bring forth fruit, and that your fruit should remain; that whatsoever ye shall ask the father in my name, he give it to you’’ John 15:16 (KJV)
Wisdom For The Day MESSAGE:
Beloved, it was God who chose you, it was not your choice. Amongst the billions of people in the world, God chose you. God knows all about your weaknesses and strength, good and bad, yet He says you are my chosen. He chose you despite what you have done in the past. God told Jeremiah: “Before I shaped you in the womb, I knew all about you. Before you saw the light of day, I had holy plans for you: A prophet to the nations— that’s what I had in mind for you.” (Jeremiah 1:5 MSG). God chose Jeremiah and the man was trying to make excuses for God. All your excuses are inexcusable. You were chosen before you were born.

In the book of Exodus chapter 3, Moses tried to talk God out of choosing him. He didn’t want to have anything to do with being a deliverer to God’s people. But God zeroed in on him and said Moses I have chosen you. Whether you can talk or not, you are the one.
Gideon was also a chosen vessel, yet he was hiding from the Midianites. God said to him, you are a mighty man of valour. Gideon said if God is with me where are those miracles? But God said to Gideon, you are the one who is going to work miracles now. Rise up in this your might. You are the deliverer!
I want you to know that you are the one God has chosen for His purpose. You may not be qualified, but He has chosen you. You are God’s choice that will bring glory to His name. Don’t be like Gideon. Don’t make excuses! Don’t tell your history! It doesn’t matter to God! He has chosen you and He will reveal Himself in your life.
