“For if by one man’s offence death reigned by one; much more they which receive abundance of grace and of the gift of righteousness shall reign in life by one, Jesus Christ.” – Romans 5:17 KJV

Grace is an endowment that you carry as a child of God. Any person who has Christ in his life carries grace that will enable him to change the equation. You can change the game because of what you carry. You must know this truth. And you must receive it. The day you received Christ, you were delivered from Adam’s nature and you were given Christ’s nature. Our text says, “much more they which receive the abundance of grace and the gift…”. Do you work for a gift! No! If you work for a gift it is no more a gift but a reward. God gave you a gift of righteousness. So, do not be intimidated to say you are righteous. Your righteousness is not contingent upon works or anything you have done. Otherwise, grace would no longer be grace.

What is righteousness? It is right standing with God. In other words; it is being able to stand right with God. Adam was not able to stand right. He started running from the very source that will help him. But now we have been given the gift to stand right before God, as if sin does not exist. Sin is no longer an issue for you because the day you received Christ, sin died. I didn’t say you did not sin. You must learn to separate your personality from your action. Your personality is not your action. They are two different things. Sin died the day you received Christ.

Righteousness is being able to stand before God without accusation, inferiority complex, intimidation, condemnation or judgment. It means you are bold to stand before God, knowing that you will receive an answer. It means you are bold to stand knowing that the whole of heaven is behind you.

Beloved, anywhere you are going, you have an entourage. The protocol of heaven is surrounding you. No more will you be intimidated. And nothing will stop you from fulfilling your mandate.
