TOPIC: What Is Feeding Your Heart (TREM Devotional 9 December 2025)
“But he answered and said, It is written, Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceedeth out of the mouth of God.“ — Matthew 4:4 (KJV)
MESSAGE
Beloved, everything you need to succeed in life has already been given to you in Christ. It is freely available, but your part is to position yourself to receive it. This requires constant feeding on the Word of God. Man does not live by food alone—hamburger, chicken, or pounded yam—but by every Word that proceeds from the mouth of God.
Today, ask yourself: What is feeding your heart? Many people are feeding themselves on lies and fear circulated through social media and the news. What are you consuming in your mind and spirit? Now is the time to feed on what never fails, what has no margin for error, and what is infallible. The Word of God is impregnable, authoritative, and powerful. It alone can sustain your spirit, guide your soul, and strengthen your body.
God gave the same instruction to Joshua after Moses’ death:
“This book of the law shall not depart out of thy mouth; but thou shalt meditate therein day and night, that thou mayest observe to do according to all that is written therein: for then thou shalt make thy way prosperous, and then thou shalt have good success.”
Meditation on the Word positions you for success, blessing, and prosperity in every area of your life. Feed on it daily, declare it, and let it shape your actions and your destiny.
