The most talked about movie to TV adaptation, Lethal Weapon, is coming to M-Net channel 101 on DStv “Express from the US” from Thursday 22 September at 6:30pm. Based on the hit movie franchise of the same name, Lethal Weapon tells the story of classic cop duo Martin Riggs (played by Clayne Crawford, Rectify) and Roger Murtaugh (played by Damon Wayans, My Wife and Kids) as they work the beat on the streets of a crime-ridden Los Angeles.

Grief-stricken after the loss of his young wife and unborn child, ex-Navy SEAL-turned-detective Riggs moves to California to “start over” at the LAPD. He’s paired up with Murtaugh, a cop who’s only just recovered from a near-fatal heart attack. Riggs’ penchant for diving headfirst into the line of fire immediately clashes with Murtaugh’s by-the-book technique, so one thing is clear from the moment they meet- this partnership is doomed. But during their first case together, Riggs drags Murtaugh on a chaotic car chase and into a shootout with drug dealers, which, despite his protests, leaves the older cop feeling more alive than he has in years.

It’s not long before Riggs himself finds something worth living for: a partner- and a friend- in Murtaugh. They’re about to become the LAPD’s best law enforcers-if Riggs doesn’t get them killed first. There’s also plenty of high-octane action, close-shave accidents and of course, quick-witted chemistry between these two talented leads.

The enigmatic thriller Blindspot kicked off its second season, on Friday 16 September at 02:00 (Express from the US) and on Thursday 22 September at 21:30 (Prime Time).

Here’s a quick recap of season 1: a beautiful woman is found in Times Square, her memory erased and her body fully covered in a series of coded tattoos: this is Jane (Jaimie Alexander). FBI Agent Kurt Weller (Sullivan Stapleton) and his fellow Agents Edgar Reade (Rob Brown), Tasha Zapata (Audrey Esparza) and the tech savvy Patterson (Ashley Johnson) begin an ongoing investigation into solving the complex treasure map of tattoos across her body. Their explorations lead to the unravelling of an ever-widening web of conspiracy and corruption, as well as the revelation of Jane’s real identity and the identity of her deadly consorts.

In the Season 2 premiere, Jane escapes CIA custody, only to be recaptured by the team, who attempt to convince her to become a triple-agent within her old terrorist organization. Some major secrets from her past and present are about to be uncovered. Luke Mitchell (Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.), Michelle Hurd (Hawaii Five-0) and Archie Panjabi (The Good Wife) join the cast.
