HOPE FOR THE NATIONS PRAYER – MONDAY, 11TH MAY 2020
ANCHOR SCRIPTURE(S): PSALM 27:14
MESSAGE TOPIC: WAITING ON THE LORD

MESSAGE OBJECTIVES:

  1. Understanding the full implication of waiting on the Lord
  2. Understanding the benefits of waiting on the Lord

WHAT IT MEANS TO WAIT ON THE LORD:

  1. Waiting on the Lord means spending time with God at the place of fasting and praying (Isa. 40:31)
  2. Waiting on the Lord is spending time in the Word of God (John 1:1-5)
    Waiting on the Lord equal waiting on the Word, feeding and Feasting on the Word
  3. Waiting on the Lord means spending time ministering to the Lord (Acts 13:2NIV)
    This is spending time to minister to the Lord at the place of worship
  4. Waiting on the Lord means standing by the Lord for instruction (Ps. 85:8; Hab. 2:1)
    A waiter is addicted to service
  5. Waiting on the Lord is existing on standby for Divine assignment
    This a person lost in the assignment of God; He can call on you at anytime

THE OUTCOME OF WAITING ON THE LORD:

  1. The renewal of strength(Ps. 27:14; Isa. 40:31)
  2. Empowerment for flight and speed (Ps. 27:14; Isa. 40:31)
  3. Impartation of wearilessness and faintlessness (Ps. 27:14; Isa. 40:31)

PRAYERS:

Father, draw us nearer to You. I want to stand by You, stand with You and stand close to You. Help me to wait on You in this season, in Jesus’ Name. Father, I make demands for fresh strength, fresh energy and momentum for myself and my family, in Jesus’ Name.

Father, we receive empowerment for flight and speed as we wait on You. We shall not be grounded, in Jesus’ Name.

Father, I receive the impartation of wearilessness, faintlessness and tirelessness, in Jesus’ Name.

Father, we ask for the enforcement and establishment of Your rule, authority and dominion in our world today. We declare and decree that the rule, reign and dominion of evil be uprooted, in Jesus’ Name. (Matt. 6:9-10)

Father, we ask for the establishment and the enforcement of Your Will in this generation. Let the death rate from around the world from coronavirus be immediately arrested. We demand that normalcy return around the world, in Jesus’ Name. (2Pet. 3:9)

Father, we ask that the earth at this time will be filled with the knowledge of Your glory as the waters cover the seas, in Jesus’ Name. Fill the earth with Your glory, O Lord, in Jesus’ Name. (Hab. 2:14)

Thank You Lord for answered prayers, in Jesus’ Name. (1John 5:14)
