Bobbi Kristina Brown, the daughter of the late singer Whitney Houston, was found unresponsive in a bathtub in her Georgia home on Saturday, police said. Police and rescue personnel arrived at the home, north of Atlanta, at 10:25 a.m. and performed “life-saving measures” to resuscitate Brown.

The 21-year-old was transported breathing to the nearby North Fulton Hospital.

There is plenty of deja vu riding on this incident. Grammy award winning Whitney Houston was found submerged in a bathtub in a Beverly Hills, California, hotel on Feb. 11, 2012, before she was later pronounced dead by medics.

Houston who died at 48 years of age, had been struggling with marijuana and cocaine. A dozen prescription drug bottles were found in the hotel suite where she passed on as well.

The younger Houston’s breathing has now been declared as “stable” and it is still unclear what circumstances lead to her unresponsiveness in the bathtub. The police will release a report at the close of investigations.
