Topic: And We Overcame; The Blood [10/2/2016]
Text: Revelation 12:11
“…And to the blood of sprinkling, that speaketh better things than that of Abel.” – Hebrews 12:24
Our victory in Jesus Christ, is first and foremost, ensured and insured by the sacrifice of the Blood of The Lamb, Jesus Christ. In Exodus 12, when God wanted to ensure the deliverance of the Israelites from Egypt, He instructed them to kill an animal and put its blood on the lintel of their house. Because the angel of death is going to pass through the land of Egypt that night to kill every first male child, but when he sees the blood, he will pass over. The blood was their insurance.
This is so also for us in this age. The blood of Jesus is not only for the remission of our sins, but for a insurance of our victory. When we put faith in the sacrifice of Jesus on the cross for us, His blood enforces our cleansing and purification. It also act as a covering for us when we plead His blood.
Revelation 12:11 says “and they overcame him by the blood of the lamb….” Victory is ensured by the sacrifice of Jesus, His blood is still significant to us today, it is significant everyday, because it speaks better things (Hebrews 12:24). It speaks forgiveness, salvation, victory of Satan, sin, and the world. If you are a partaker of the life of God, the blood of Jesus as insured your victory, no one is taking it from you. You are victorious through and through. Hallelujah!!!

Dear Father, thank You for the blood of Jesus Christ, Your Son, that ensures and insured my victory. My faith is alive and it is resting on the efficacy of the Blood of the Lamb. I am victorious over Satan, sin and the world by the blood, in Jesus name, amen.
