Text: Colossians 1:16
Scriptures make us to know the existence of principalities and powers, thrones and dominion. Spiritually, these represent demons and, most times, the knowledge of their existence (Satan’s messengers) creates fear in the hearts of some Christians. But this should not be so. Rather we should be excited about their existence, because these principalities and powers are created for our advantage.
You might be wondering why I said they were created for our advantage when, probably, all you have come to know about them are the evils they perpetrate. Colossians 1:16 says: “for by him were all things created, that are in heaven, and that are in earth, visible and invisible, whether they be thrones, or dominions, or principalities, or powers: all things were created by him, and for him.”
By Jesus were all things created and for the fulfillment of His divine will and purpose. Because we are working for His purpose, all things including these demons will work to our advantage (Roman 8:28). All we need to do is to command them because they are our subjects. Christ have been made head over all things to the church (Ephesians 1:21-22), and we, through Christ, are heads over these principalities and powers (Colossians 2:10). If Jesus can put them under subjection, so we can also. There is no need to be afraid of them, they are for our advantage and use. Hallelujah!!!

Dear loving Father, thank You for making me head, through Jesus, over principalities and powers. Thank You for they are for my use and advantage. I put them under subject always, causing them to work for my purpose always, in Jesus name. Amen.
