Topic: God Sees The Real You [7/4/2016]
Text: Judges 6:12-16
God is Omniscient. That is, He knows all things. Nothing is hidden from His knowledge, and that includes us. He knows us, He knows what He has put in our inside, our capacity, skills, talents, etc. Most times, we are blind to what the Lord has put in us but God sees the real us.
The angel of the Lord appeared before Gideon in Judges 6:12 and called him “thou mighty man of valour”. But Gideon was not seeing beyond what he knows about himself. This was a man that is hiding from the Midianites, afraid to die. But God called Him mighty man of courage. God was seeing the real Him and calling it to be. God Sees beyond your current fragility, He sees beyond your current weaknesses.
So He told Gideon, who was lamenting the devastation brought by the Midianites, “Go in this thy might, and thou shalt save Israel from the hand of the Midianites…” (Judges 6:14). Which might? It is the might of the Lord, for God was with Him. Don’t write off yourself. Don’t dwell on the weaknesses that seems to be holding you back. You’ve got strength, because God is with you. And like Gideon, you will come back victorious.
God sees the real you because He is in you. Keep winning daily.

Dear Father, thank You for been with me and for being my strength. I look through Your eyes and see the boundless potentials, the great strength, the unshaken courage that is in me always, in Jesus name Amen.
