Topic: Influence Your World [10/5/2016]
Text: Isaiah 55:5

One beautiful thing about the life of God in us is it’s unmitigating influence. God wants us to influence our world through the life  He has given to us. So He puts His glory in us to attract people to us. When Jesus was on earth, He was always followed by a multitude wherever He went, that was because of the glory of God. And this made it easy for Him to influence the people who believed in Him.

Scripture says in Isaiah 55:5, “behold, thou shalt call a nation that thou knowest not, and nations that knew not thee shall run unto thee because of the LORD thy God, and for the Holy One of Israel; for he hath glorified thee.” As the people come to us, we are expected to influence them with the Word of God. Changing their mindset and attitude and life (read Isaiah 2:1-4).

The reason the world have not really caught the light of God in us is because, as a church, we have not done much to influence the world. We’ve allowed our light to dim out when it should be blazing in its highest intensity. But this have to stop. For a change, let us create the positive influence that is expected of us, and bring the world to the knowledge of God and His Son Jesus Christ whom He sent to give eternal life (John 17:3).

Keep winning daily.

Prayer:
Dear Lord, thank You for putting Your glory and Your life in me for me to influence my world for You. I am committed to this course, touching and changing lives for You. Everywhere I go, I influence my world, bringing them to the knowledge of the Truth, in Jesus name. Amen.
