Topic: Make Power Available [7/6/2016]
Text: James 5:16

God’s will for us is that we operate in the dimensions of the capacity He has endowed us with. He wants us, who are the recipient of His fullness (John 1:16) to function in the light of who we are. But we must activate what God has placed in us. Apostle Paul told Timothy, in 2 Timothy 1:6: “stir up the gift that is in you…”

Amazingly, He has provided the means for us to stir up what we have in us. James 1:16b says: “the earnest (heartfelt, continued) prayer of a righteous man makes tremendous power available [dynamic in its working].” When we pray, we should not only make it as a medium to ask God for our needs, but we must use it as a means to stir up the God’s power in us.

There is so much God wants to accomplish to us, and we can’t do it on our own. We must make power available for us, and it is in the place of prayers that we do that. No wonder the apostles said they will give themselves to prayers instead of serving tables. In doing that, they were able to accomplish so much for God. Give yourself to prayer Make power available that is dynamic in its working.

Keep winning daily.

Prayer:
Go ahead and pray in other tongues, giving thanks to God Who have counted you worthy of His power.
