For by thy words thou shalt be justified, and by thy words thou shalt be condemned. Matthew 12:37

The effect of our words in our lives cannot be over-emphasized. The organ of speech – the tongue – is likened to a rudder in a ship (James 3:4). The rudder in a ship is the instrument of direction. Wherever the rudder is turned towards, that is where the ship goes. Our tongues give direction to our lives with the words that is spoken with it. This is because the power to give life or death and anything that can be likened to them is in the tongue (Proverbs 18:21).

So, when scripture says that “for by thy words thou shalt be justified, and by thy words thou shalt be condemned” in Matthew 12:37, it is inferring that we make our lives what it will be with our words. When we speak words based on what the Lord have said about us, we direct our lives toward experiencing the reality of God’s word. This is the more reason why we need to fill our hearts with God’s words, so that we can at all times, direct our lives toward experiencing them.

You know, scriptures says in Matthew 12:35 that “a good man out of the good treasure of the heart bringeth forth good things: and an evil man out of the evil treasure bringeth forth evil things.” For a good man to bring forth good fruits, he must have sown good seeds. And we know that God’s words are seeds. We need to constantly sow the seeds of God’s word in our heart, so that from the abundance of the word of God in our hearts, we can direct our lives the experience the word of God with our words we speak. Direct your life with the words you speak towards experiencing the reality of God’s words to you.

Keep winning daily.
