Topic: Divine Ideas [10/9/2016]

Text: Genesis 40: 14 – 44

Pharaoh was faced with an impossible situation, in which he couldn’t interpret two very important dreams, which could shape the survival of his people. But there was a Joseph, who could not only interpret dreams, but was also filled with divine ideas and wisdom to steer Egypt away from the impending famine that was to come. Great men are known not by their stature, but by the implementable ideas, insight and strategies they are able to churn out of their minds.

Imagine if Joseph was not in Egypt during that period. There would have been a disaster. People would have died en-mass. And even the family of Israel would not be spared. But there was a Joseph at the right place and at the right time. In this time when the world is going through economic downturn, we need the ‘Josephs’ to stand up. The amazing thing is that *you are the Joseph* the world is waiting for. Yes, you are full of divine ideas. In your mind, is a stream flowing with divine ideas that will turn the economy of your family, community and nation around.

You are a partaker of the Divine nature (1 Peter 1:4). This implies that you are a participant of the thought process that birthed the world. In your mind flows the wisdom and insight that is from above, that comes from the Father of lights, Who gives it liberally without discrimination (James 1:5). Put those ideas flowing in your mind to use. Write out the strategies. Don’t say it won’t work, because the ideas that are flowing from the Fountain of life in you will always work. God has given you those divine ideas for a purpose. Use them to create an impact in your family, community and nation (1 Corinthians 12:7).

Keep winning daily.

Prayer:
I am full of divine ideas. Ideas that will solve challenges in my family, community and nation flows in and through me. By the working of God’s Spirit in me, I implement these ideas, and bring the desired solutions and positive changes in my life, family, community and nation, in Jesus’ name. Amen.
