…for God is love. 1 John 4:8
If you look at the word ‘kind’ from the dictionary, you will see words like benevolent, courteous, generous, gentle, liberal, sympathetic, or warm-hearted nature, marked by consideration for – and service to – others, affectionate, describing it. To be kind is to be all of these. Love is kind, that is, it is affectionate. It is marked by consideration for and service to others. It is sympathetic and warm-hearted towards people. It is generous and benevolent, and above all gentle and courteous.
If love is these, God is also these. Don’t forget, God is love and every expression of love is found in God. Some times, we feel depraved of the kindness of God, we want to experience the expression of God’s kindness. But the Lord is saying to us “…my kindness shall not depart from thee, neither shall the covenant of my peace be removed from thee…” (Isaiah 54:10). God is pleased to show how warm-hearted and generous He is. He wants to let you feel His affection. He wants to always be of service to you. And He is doing these not because you merit it, but because He is love, and love naturally exhibit these things without any inhibition.
God is kind. And His kindness is forever. He loves you, and wants you to know His kindness. Never ever think that God has removed His kindness from you because you are not experiencing it at the moment. God’s kindness is reaching you right now. You are experiencing His generosity, you are experiencing how affectionate He is. You are experiencing how warm-hearted He is right now. God is kind. Be like God.

Thank You dear Lord for Your kindness which You will never remove from me. I declare that I experience Your kindness in all its multi-faceted levels. I also, by the working of the Spirit of love in me, exhibits kindness toward others, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.
