Topic: God’s Glory [23/2/2016]
Text: Ephesians 1:17
We are God’s glory revealed to the world. We are the God’s beauty, radiance and wisdom displayed before the world to behold. God, through us, is showing the world what they will be if they are on His side. So everywhere we go, God’s glory shows up and light up the place, bringing fresh breathe to the place.
You might want to ask, how did I become God’s glory. Scriptures called God the Father of glory (Ephesians 1:17). And then it also called us the carriers of glory (Colossians 1:27). There you have it. God is your Father. So when God was referred to as the Father of glory, you are the glory being referred to.
Again, in Hebrews 1:3 Jesus Christ was referred to as the brightness of God’s glory. That is, He is the one who personified God’s glory. Where ever he showed up, God’s glory showed up. And as He (Jesus) is so are we in this world (1 John 4:17). So as Jesus is the glory of God, so are we the glory of God. We are the perfect representation of God in bodily form. Hallelujah!
So today, I appear as God’s glory everywhere I go. Radiant and perfect in my representation of God as I keep winning daily. Glory!
Prayer:
Dear God, thank You for making me Your glory, Your perfect representation bodily everywhere I go. Through me, show forth Your beauty, radiance and wisdom to the world always, in Jesus name. Amen.
