Text: Titus 2:11-12

The grace of God that is made available to us have been misconstrued. Grace is never a license to sin. Grace does not encourage lifestyles that does not showcase God’s righteousness and holiness. Yes, it is true that as Christians we still indulge in the act of sinning, and God knows that we will, that was why He provided His grace to show us a better way to live our lives.

Grace is a teacher. The Holy Spirit, Who is the Spirit of grace (Hebrews 10:29), has brought the grace that brings salvation, “TEACHING US that, denying ungodliness and worldly lusts, we should live soberly, righteously, and godly, in this present world” (Titus 2:12). And when the Spirit of grace teaches us, He also empowers us to do what He teaches. The truth is, every time we sin, grace steps in to teach us the right way. He whispers to us, “this is wrong. You are living below your standard. Step up. Do righteously.”

The Spirit of grace, our Teacher, wants to teach us the right way to go every time we fall short of our standard. He picks us up, and like a good Rabbi, shows us a more excellent way of living. He does this because He wants us to be zealous of good works always (Titus 2:14). Grace is the teacher we need, Who does not encourages our sinful acts, but discourages them and shows us the right path to tread. Take advantage of His grace.

Keep winning daily.

Prayer:
Thank You Lord for Your Spirit of grace You have given me to show me the right path of life. I know Father, that Your grace is not a licence to continue sinning, that is why I lean on Your grace to teach me to showcase Your righteousness and holiness always, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.
