Text: Proverbs 11:3

The just man walketh in his integrity: his children are blessed after him. – Proverbs 20:7

In a world where moral decadence is on the rise, where people seem to only care about what they get and not how they get it, we as sons of God need to stand up and be counted for our integrity. We must an example of integrity in our place of work, businesses, career, family and our association. We must be different.

Our Father is integrity personified (Psalm 78:72), and He expects us to be the same. Job in the scripture had a testimony before God for his integrity, for it was said about him that he “…was perfect and upright, and one that feared God, and eschewed evil (Job 1:1). He held unto his integrity when all he had was no more, even though he was under pressure from his wife and friends to discard his integrity.

We must follow this example. There will be lots of pressure on us to trade our integrity for money, position and fame, but we must vehemently resist it. We must not be conformed to the world system of doing things (Romans 12:2). Even if it cost you everything, hold unto your integrity. “Better is the poor that walketh in his integrity, than he that is perverse in his lips, and is a fool” (Proverbs 19:1).

Keep winning daily.

Prayer:

Dear Lord, I trust in Your grace that is available to me to uphold my integrity even in a perverse world. The temptation will arise but I lean on You to find a way of escape, for I have made up my mind to be upright always, in Jesus name, amen.
