Topic: No Haste to Wealth [16/7/2016]
Text: Proverbs 28:22

Most people, in this 21st century, want things done in a hurry. Most want to achieve alot so fast and early that they will do all they should not do to get there. For some, they follow the path of least resistance all in the bid to hit the jackpot of their life. But “there is a way that seemeth right unto a man, but the end thereof are the ways of death” (Proverbs 16:25) Scriptures say in Proverbs 28:22: “he that hasteth to be rich hath an evil eye, and considereth not that poverty shall come upon him.”

It is better to delay gratification than to hasting to wealth and at the end come to poverty. Take the example of the prodigal son as a case study. When you are in haste to get wealth, sin is beside the corner. Proverbs 13:11 says: “wealth gotten by vanity shall be diminished: but he that gathereth by labour shall increase.” But when you by labour gather wealth, it not only increases, it endures. Don’t be in a hurry to make wealth. Follow the process of wealth creation.

It is not wrong to hit the jackpot early in your life. Infact, it makes life alot easier. But not at the detriment of a clear conscience and a pre-destined destruction or fatality. Build wealth by wisdom, and wisdom is saying today, “do not be in haste to make wealth, but labour through the process to build wealth.” Put your trust in God, Who gives the power (ability, idea, strategy, wisdom, direction) to make wealth.
Keep winning daily.

Prayer:
Loving Father, thank You for Your wisdom to make wealth is available to me. I strategically and systematically build enduring wealth. Though my beginning be small, but I am assure that my later end will greatly increase, in Jesus name. Amen.
