Topic: The Truth [9/9/2016]

The truth is key in every aspect of our lives. It is what we need to live the wonderful life that God has planned for us. The truth is the reality of life and men have always craved to know the truth. Some men have travel the length and breadth of the earth to know the truth. Many have gone through hours of studies trying to know the truth. Also, many have followed other men in search of the truth.
Allow me to introduce you to the Truth. In John 14:6, scriptures say: “Jesus said unto him, I am the Way, THE TRUTH, and the Life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me”. Jesus is the Truth – ‘the Reality’ that we seek. He brings the reality of the Father to us, granting us assess to really know and experience the truth of the Father (John 4:23). One other thing the truth does for us is to sanctify us. The Truth brings out the true or real picture of who we are, taking away the image of our old self from our mind and superimposes the image of our new man, thereby purify us from our old conversation (John 17:17).
Jesus, Who is the Truth and the Word of God Who was made flesh, reveals Himself to us through the pages of scriptures – the Word of God. We need the Truth; the Reality of God to set us free in every sphere of life. Embrace the truth. Embrace Jesus. Embrace His Word and live in the reality of who you are in Christ.

Prayer:
Dear Father, thank you for the Truth that You have revealed to me. I embrace the Truth and live in the reality of who I am in Christ. The Truth will help me continually walk in step with the Spirit as I follow Him, in Jesus’ name. Amen.
