For all the promises of God in him are yea, and in him Amen, unto the glory of God by us. 1 Corinthians 1:20
We appreciate experts in all fields and we hold their opinions in high esteem, because they put in painstaking effort into their research and findings. And, yes, they come up with facts. They’ve birthed facts in medicine, economics, etc. And these facts, from human perspective, cannot be disputed. But not with us – sons and daughters of God, because we do not live our lives based on facts, we live our lives on Truth. And we derive our truth from God’s Word. No matter how succinth these facts are, the truth of God’s Word trumps them anytime, any day.
Medical fact may say you are sick, it may say that you cannot give birth, but the truth of God’s Word says you are healed, and you can have children (1 Peter 2:24). It doesn’t matter how damning or how believable the facts are, God’s truth is our reality. We live and experience God’s truth everyday.
Even when the experts comfirm an economic meltdown, we know and believe that God, who has translated us into His Kingdom (Colossians 1:13), will supply all our needs according to HIS RICHES in glory (Phillipians 4:19). We have chosen to believe and live by the truth of God’s Word because we know that truth trumps fact. Probably you have been presented with a fact that negates truth, stick to the truth, bind it in the midst of your heart, for it is life to those who believe it and health to their flesh (Proverbs 4:20-22).

Prayer:
Dear Lord, thank You for the truths in your Word. I believe and live by them. No matter the report of experts, I believe the report of Your truth because I know, that Your truth will trump the facts, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.
