Topic: A Valuable Asset [3/7/2016]
Text: Acts 1:8
Scriptures in 1 Peter 2:9 describes us in a wonderful way. It says: “But ye are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, an holy nation, a peculiar people; that ye should shew forth the praises of him who hath called you out of darkness into his marvellous light,” showing us how valuable we are to God. We are God’s most valuable assets. He bought us with the highest price he could ever pay with – His very own blood. God invested Himself to get us to His side. Our worth is God’s life. That is how valuable we are to Him. You did not come cheap, so never act cheap. Ye are bought with a price; be not ye the servants of men.” (1 Cor. 7:23)
You are not just only valuable, but an asset to God. God did not only invest so much to buy you, He also invested in you. His first investment in you was giving you His life (1 John 5:13). Then He went further to give you all of His abilities through His Spirit in you (Acts 1:8). Putting His abilities in you is one of the most costly investments God ever carried out. He saw you as an asset, that was why He went that far to invest so much in you. He did not stop there. He also invested natural and spiritual gifts in you (1 Cor. 12:4-11, Rom 12: 6-8). That’s awesome!!!
You are the most valuable asset God can boast of. He holds you in the high esteem. He sees you as His best card to win and make profit. Every valuable asset proves its worth by being an asset that adds value. God invested a lot in you so you can add value to His Kingdom. You are not a piece of furniture. You are God’s instrument of profit. His aim is to use what He has invested in you – His life, Spirit and gifts – to produce more assets like you. That’s the best part of everything about you. Producing more assets like you through you is God’s ultimate goal. Go ahead and live as the valuable asset that you are.

Prayer:
I am a valuable asset to God. I am His most expensive possession. I am His ace card, the crown of His winning strategy. I am not just a beautiful piece, but a valuable masterpiece that adds immense value to the Kingdom of God. I produce after my kind through the operation of His Spirit in me, in Jesus name. Amen.
