Follow peace with all men, and holiness, without which no man shall see the Lord: Hebrews 12:14
Apart from holiness being a shield of protection round those who walk in it, much more than that is that, it also prepares one to see the Lord on the last day. Holiness bring you face to face with God Almighty. Heaven is a place prepared for the righteous ones not unrighteous. John 14:1-3. The Bible made it clear that unrighteous cannot inherit the Kingdom of God: neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor effeminate, nor abusers of themselves with mankind, Nor thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor extortioners, shall inherit the kingdom of God. 1 Cor. 6:9-10. This Scripture is so real compare to the above one, it therefore means that, every man that want to see God in heaven must purge his/herself of every filthiness and live a holy lifestyle. 1 John 3:3. This is so important to note.
Holy lifestyle guarantees ones Heaven. Unrighteousness cannot enters into Heaven because the city is called “Holy City” Rev. 21:2,10. The Holy City is prepared by a Holy God for a Holy People. Rev 18:20. How prepared are you to meet your God, in Condemnation or Commendation? The reward for living holy is Heaven with God while unholy lifestyle condemns one with the devil in the lake of fire.
