Topic: Your Multi-Dimensional Nature! (2)
Dear Reader,
There is no doubt that you caught some secrets last week, about the multi-dimensional nature of a woman. I pray that the Lord will also help us today to get what He has in store for us.
This week, I want to focus on one of the four perspectives of your dimensional nature as A Woman!
With much confidence, I like to say here that the greatest thing that ever happened to the world is the creation of a woman. The woman is so important that God said: And the LORD God said, It is not good that the man should be alone; I will make him an help meet for him (Genesis 2:18).
God instituted marriage to get a suitable help for man. So, He made the woman. That is, without the woman, man is so helpless. In other words, the woman is a God-ordained help for the man He created.
As a woman, you must acknowledge that your root is in the Almighty God. What a privilege! He also put inside you the seed of dominion! He created you whole, unique, complete and special.
So, as a woman, whatever your race, colour, educational background, etc, you are one of a kind and very special indeed. God says concerning you: …I have loved you with an everlasting love (Jeremiah 13:3).
When you walk and live with this understanding, your effectiveness will be enhanced as a woman, and life itself will be more fulfilling. This understanding will also help you to ensure that you establish and maintain a quality walk with God on a personal note, all by yourself, apart from what others around you are doing.
So, the primary dimension of your nature is that, you are created whole and complete as seen in God’s Word: In Him we are complete (Colossians 2:10). This is the best platform for you to relate well as a woman, because in Christ, you are complete and entire, wanting (lacking) nothing.
Let us briefly examine the qualities of a woman:
A woman of trust
In a practical sense, trust means that you place confidence in someone to be honest with and faithful to you, and not to abandon you. Life is all about trust. As a virtuous woman, you need to be truthful in all you say and do. I want you to know that there is no substitute for truth! You must let your yea be found yea, and your nay be found nay. If you are a woman of double standards, it becomes difficult for your husband and even the society to trust you.
A woman of stewardship
God’s Word says: Whether therefore ye eat, or drink, or whatsoever ye do, do all to the glory of God (I Corinthians 10:31). A virtuous woman takes some time to check out her work and is careful to consider that her motivation is right. She ensures her work is done all for the glory and honour of God and not out of selfishness. She makes sure that she knows her operations, understands what is going on, and observes her merchandise. She is not wasteful with the material possessions the Lord has given her. How you take care of the things that God has given you indicate the kind of steward you are.
A productive woman
No matter the position of a virtuous woman, she is always productive and she works with her hands. She is creative and industrious. God’s Word says: Who can find a virtuous woman? for her price is far above rubies. She seeketh wool, and flax, and worketh willingly with her hands (Proverbs 31:10 & 13). If a woman is not productive, she will invariably be burdensome to her spouse and the society at large.
If you are not born again, you don’t have what it takes to be a woman of trust, a woman of stewardship, and a productive woman. Do you want to give your life to Christ? Then say this prayer of faith: “Dear Lord Jesus Christ, I come to You today. I am a sinner. Forgive me of my sins and cleanse me with Your Blood. Deliver me from sin and satan to serve the living God. I accept You as my Lord and Saviour. Make me a child of God today. Thank You for accepting me into Your Kingdom.”
If you prayed this simple prayer, you are now a child of God. He loves you and will never leave you. Read your Bible daily, obey God’s Word and seek Christian fellowship (John 14:21).
