Topic: Your Time To Shine Forth His Light
“For, behold, the darkness shall cover the earth, and gross darkness the people: but the LORD shall arise upon thee, and his glory shall be seen upon thee.” – Isaiah 60:2.

Few Sundays ago, my pastor preached a message and said many wonderful things which I am still yet to recover from. Among other things he said, he said, every negative things happening in the world today is for the benefits of the children of God. They are all happening that the children of the kingdom should show forth the power of God.
The darkness hovering round the world today is actually there so that the children of God who are the reflection of the light of God on earth will shine forth and that in them those who are in darkness will come under the shade of their lights. Isaiah has told us that the essence of our shining forth the light of God in us is because darkness is already upon the earth and the people are looking for light to come under. In all aspect of your life, you must shine forth His light because God is counting on you to project His light in you to this dark world. In your attitude, shine forth your light because you are the light of the world. In your conversation shine forth His light by speaking edifying words. Words that bring healing and hope to the hearers. Whenever you appear in a place where darkness has been prevalent before, you are expected to light up that environment with the light in you. Darkness should not thrive wherever you are as a child of light. Remember, John 1:5 says, “And the light shineth in darkness; and the darkness comprehended it not”. Don’t complain about the evil in the world, they are happening so that you can do something about them in Christ Jesus.
Bible Promises Declaration:
I am the light of the world, therefore I will shine forth my light for the glory of God to be revealed in the darkness of this world. Hallelujah!!!
