TOPIC: Christ Is Our Goshen (TREM Devotional 16 April 2025)

“And I will sever in that day the land of Goshen, in which my people dwell, that no swarms of flies shall be there; to the end thou mayest know that I am the LORD in the midst of the earth.” (Exodus 8:22 KJV)

MESSAGE:

God still knows how to make a distinction between those who serve Him and those who don’t. He has not ceased making the distinction. You can’t serve God and be suffering like those in the world. You can’t be serving God and be living in fear, that is not your portion. Your case is different, because there is a Goshen for the people of God. Goshen is a part of Egypt which Jacob and all his descendants occupied before they began to expand. When all the plagues were befalling Egypt, the Israelites were safe; God preserved them in Goshen. In the unpleasant events of our day, I declare that you are safe in Goshen.

Today, our Goshen is Christ. On Christ the solid rock we stand, all other ground is sinking sand. If you are in Christ, you are a new creation, old things are passed away, all things are become new. Things will no longer happen to you the way it used to, neither will it happen to you the way it does to others. The curses that run in the family will no longer work against you. God has placed a distinction between you and others who don’t serve Him.

If you are in Christ, you have been delivered from the powers of darkness and translated into the kingdom of His dear Son. Your life is hid in Christ. So you are safe and secured in Christ. As long as you are vitally connected to God, the evils of this world will not overtake you. He will fight your battles. From this day, MAY your life be continually victorious. MAY you win in the battles of life, and MAY you never see shame. In Christ, you and your family are secured and covered in the blood of the Lamb.
