TOPIC: Seek To Maximize God’s Investment In You (TREM Devotional 1 January 2026)

“See then that ye walk circumspectly, not as fools, but as wise, redeeming the time, because the days are evil. Wherefore be ye not unwise, but understanding what the will of the Lord is.” – Ephesians 5:15–17 (KJV)

MESSAGE

Beloved, as we step into a brand new year, it is important to pause and reflect. Every new year is a divine opportunity, a renewed trust from God, and a reminder that His investment in us is both intentional and priceless.

Some time ago, I came across one of my old notes from 1992. It contained precious truths the Lord had personally taught me, insights not copied from any book, but received through fellowship with Him. In those moments, God showed me practical principles for living a victorious life. These scriptural truths remain timeless, and they are key to living successfully in every area of life. Never take them for granted.

Our Heavenly Father has prepared a divine destiny for each of us, one that no power of darkness can cancel. As we allow the gospel to transform our hearts and renew our minds, we are empowered to experience the fullness of God’s purpose. How far you go in life is largely determined by how you respond to the truths revealed in God’s Word.

Success in life is rarely the result of one single factor. Many key elements work together to produce lasting success. Unfortunately, some people focus on just one area while neglecting others. This may bring temporary or partial achievement, but it will not yield the fullness of what God has planned. To truly maximize your potential, you must develop every gift and resource God has placed within you. Remember, you are not meant to be limited, because Jesus, who lives in you, is unlimited.

As a believer, there is a way you are called to live. Your conduct and choices should reflect the nature and purpose of God in you. Scripture reminds us, “Be not deceived: evil communications corrupt good manners.” 1 Corinthians 15:33 (KJV). Therefore, do not make a shipwreck of your destiny by living carelessly or by assuming that your actions do not matter. Live intentionally and righteously, in a manner that allows the treasure of God within you to find full expression.

Each day of this new year is an opportunity to redeem the time, to live wisely, purposefully, and in alignment with God’s will.
