SCRIPTURE: Before I formed thee in the belly I knew thee; and before thou camest forth out of the womb I sanctified thee, and I ordained thee a prophet unto the nations. Jeremiah 1:5.
THOUGHT FOR THE DAY: Some forces must work for human life and destiny to happen.
Seeds Of Destiny For Today 2026 MESSAGE
Every working or functioning entity has an interplay of systems or forces that make them work. Functional entities have forces that come into play to make them work.
Our anchor scripture makes it clear that before we were ever formed in the womb, God already knew us. Before we came forth out of the womb, He selected us and ordained us for His divine purpose.
If you look at the governmental system, for example, you have the executive, the legislative, and the judiciary. You also have the public service, the military and paramilitaries, all working together to make the government function.
Again, if you look at the human body, you have what is called the central nervous system, comprising the brain, the spinal cord, and the nerves. You have the respiratory system, the cardiovascular system, the heart and the vessels.
You have the gastrointestinal system, also called the alimentary system. These are systems that come into play to ensure the human body functions normally. If one of the systems is not working, then there is an impairment.
In the same manner, some forces must work for human life and destiny to happen. We are going to examine one of them in our study today, and that is The Force of Spirituality.
Spirituality is a force of devotion or dedication to God. Concerning King Uzziah, 2 Chronicles 26:5 says…he sought God in the days of Zechariah, who had understanding in the visions of God, and as long as he sought the Lord, God made him to prosper.
Destiny is not the ambition you have; destiny simply means what God wants you to become.
Please, note the following:
i. Spiritual root determines destiny fruit. Everyone’s root determines their fruit.
ii. Spiritual root determines destiny rise or height. If you need the height of an Iroko tree, you must have the root of an Iroko.
iii. Spiritual root determines destiny reach. The extent to which a man’s destiny can reach is determined by his spirituality.
iv. Your heart for God determines your height in life.
For example, as long as King Uzziah sought the Lord, God made him to prosper (2 Chronicles 26:5).
v. The pursuit of God equals the possession of good.
The Psalmist says in Psalms 27:4, One thing have I desired of the Lord, that will I seek after; that I may dwell in the house of the Lord all the days of my life, to behold the beauty of the Lord, and to enquire in his temple.
Beloved, if you value your future, then be interested in your relationship with God. Your relationship with God is key to your results in life. That is why every time the devil wants to ruin your destiny, he ruins your relationship with God. Don’t let that happen to you.
REMEMBER THIS: Some forces must work for human life and destiny to happen.
ASSIGNMENT(S):
- Commit yourself to a life of a consistent relationship and deeper intimacy with God.
- Guard your mind and renew it daily with the Word of God.
- Define clearly the kind of life and future you desire and prayerfully pursue it.
PRAYER: Father, thank You for Your Word to me today. I receive the grace to grow in my relationship with You and to develop the right mindset for destiny fulfilment, Lord, in Jesus’ Name.
