A Promise For You From Bible Promises:

Topic: God is The Only Help for Our Nation

And he said, If the LORD do not help thee, whence shall I help thee? out of the barnfloor, or out of the winepress? 2 Kings 6:27. Read: 2 Kings 7:1-2, 17-20

There was a great famine in Samaria because Benhadad king of Syria had gathered his host and besieged the city. The famine became so tensed because none of the people could go out to buy and sell for the fear of the Syria army. It got so worse that some women began to eat their children for food (2 Kings 6:28-29). When the king heard that, he rent his clothes and sent messengers to the National prophet Elisha (not to enquire from God) to take off his head for watching the national calamity to degenerate to such stage. But the tide changed when a word of knowledge came from God through prophet Elisha on how the drought will suddenly change for Samaria’s favour. Read the whole of 2 Kings 7.

Belove, I was at the Crossover service on 31st December, 2015 when the word of knowledge through prophecy from God through His servant Pastor E. A. Adeboye that, ‘At the beginning of the new year, things will be tough, but towards the end, things will stabilize’. Indeed, things are rough and tough as revealed by God through his son. Why can’t we believe the latter part of this prophecy that things will stabilize and entreat God’s mercy in prayer. During the Holy Ghost service of March, he reminded us of the earlier prophecy and led us to entreat God’s mercy. Don’t be doubtful but believe that God is in the business of stabilizing whatever has been destabilized in our nation because He is our only help and hope.

* For the sake of this nation, the Lord will not hold His peace until she is established in Jesus name.
