President Muhammadu Buhari has nominated a former Deputy Governor of Akwa Ibom State, Obong Nsima Ekere as Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of the lucrative Niger Delta Development Commission (NDDC).
If confirmed by the Senate, Mr. Ekere will replace Ibim Semenitari who was the Acting Managing Director of NDDC.
He also nominated Senator Victor Ndoma-Egba as the Chairman of the agency.
Their names were forwarded to the senate Wednesday for confirmation.
