The Governor of the Central Bank of Nigeria, Mr. Godwin Emefiele, lost his mother on December 25th 2015.
Madam Alice Emefiele died Friday morning at age 94.
President Muhammadu Buhari has expressed deep regret over the death of Mrs Emefiele.
He personally placed a call to condole with the Emefieles.
Buhari described a mother as “an invaluable component of family life, and the pillar and comforter of the children’’.
