Lagos, December 2015: As with previous editions of what has come to be one of the popular end of the year Funfairs, the 2015 edition of the Continental Broadcasting Services (CBS) Family Funfair was nothing short of an unforgettable experience, right from the opening ceremony on Monday, December 7, 2015 up onto the final day on Sunday, December 27, 2015.

The fair which held for 20 days at the company’s head office in Ikosi Ketu, Lagos featured live performances from top Nigerian Hip hop and Fuji artistes, including Adekunle Gold, Helen Paul and Obesere.

Speaking on the success of the Funfair, Director Programs, Continental Broadcasting Service, Morayo Afolabi-Brown described the 2015 edition as a superb fair.

Afolabi-Brown said that, “The 2015 edition of CBS Family Funfair was in every sense an unforgettable experience, right from the start date till the end. What we did differently this year was to ensure that every single idea was a reflection of the theme of the fair.’’

She added, “This year, we provided entertainment, games and refreshments appropriate for all age groups in a harmonious atmosphere. Right from the gate to the venue and within, we made sure that the security was very tight and we are excited to say again that, just as before, there was neither one crime reported, nor any accident or injury recorded.

“Over 12,000 people visited and enjoyed CBS Family Fun Fair this year, and we have received nothing but showers of encomiums and praises. It was a success in every way and we look forward to a great future, and of special thanks to some of our sponsors and partners; MTN, Infinity Snacks, etc for believing in our brand.”

Speaking on her experience, Mrs Abimbola Okesina, who visited the Funfair for the first time with her family members, described the fair as a wonderful experience for her family.

She said that, “With N1,000, my kids enjoyed lots of games, swimming and fantastic gifts from Santa for a whole day. Though, I did not want to come at first, but the feedback from one of my neighbors that attended the fair during the first week and the images online encouraged me to give it a shot. After my experience, I had to invite my brother’s kids for a two- day holiday at my place. just because I wanted them to have a feel and I am glad they did too.”

CBS Family Funfair is an annual fabulous fair that allows families and schools to come out for a great day of fun and unforgettable experience in complete safety, and a superb community atmosphere.
