A Promise For You From Bible Promises:

Topic: Christian Tout? [05/09/2016]

But I keep under my body, and bring it into subjection: lest that by any means, when I have preached to others, I myself should be a castaway. 1 Corinthians 9:27. Read: 1 Cor 9:24-16

In most of our bus/stops we have touts whose major work is to help the driver call passengers. They publicize the destination of the buses, persuade others to go with the bus, yet, they are left behind by the bus and the passengers they persuaded. They help others to get to their destination, yet, they remain on a spot.

Invariably, there’re many Christian touts who know about God and the impending judgment, they’re sign post to others to get to God’s Kingdom, yet, they themselves are not going there. They publicise God’s Kingdom, they tell the world to repent of their sins, yet, they are slaves to sin. They appear Holy, but inside, they’re servants of unrighteousness doing the bidding of their master – Satan. In this regard, Jesus said, not everyone that will call Me Lord, Lord would enter My Kingdom simply “they did their service in iniquity”. Paul said in the above scripture, “When I have preached to others, I myself should not be a castaway”.

* Father, I don’t want to be a Christian tout that will point others to your Kingdom, yet miss it. Help me not to miss it in Jesus Name
